Your new role
In your new role you will joining the procurement team within a Private Health organisation in central London. You will be responsible for negotiating industry leading national agreements for the group purchasing organisation. Your objective is to ensure best in class industry pricing and contract terms and conditions. Specifically you will be responsible for the sourcing process including strategy preparation, market research, bid preparation, RFI/RFP, contract negotiations, contract launch and maintenance.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role it is essential you have skills and experience in private sector procurement. You must be an all-rounder not assigned to one specific category but able to pick up projects in multiple areas. On top of strong technical procurement skills you must have strong analytical skills with the ability to create or interpret potentially complex financial models. You must possess an understanding of negotiation strategies and tactics. An in-depth understanding of contract term and condition provisions is essential and of course excellent oral, written communication skills and presentation skills are required. A strong focus on delivery and outputs is paramount.
