Warehouse and Logistics Manager
Your new company
You will be working with a market leading manufacturing business as the Warehouse and Logistics Manager. Specialising in the production of goods for the construction industry, they are considered to be the UK's market leader.
Your new role
Within this exciting position, you will be the direct line manager for between 4 and 6 people managers whilst having overall responsibility for upwards of 30 permanent employees. Within the Warehouse and Logistics Manager job, you will be reporting into the Operations Director. You will have total responsibility for the Inventory, Warehouse Planning and overall quality of service provided. You will manage your departments P&L plus budget, ensuring that you can deliver the required business results.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this Warehouse and Logistics Manager job, you must have held the position of Warehouse Manager / Operations Manager / Logistics Manager / Depot Manager / Manufacturing Manager within a production business. Ideally within this time, you will have gained exposure to continuous improvement (CI) or exposure to Lead / Six Sigma methodologies. You must also have an IOSH whilst ideally you'll have gained exposure to SAP or other warehouse planning systems. The Warehouse and Logistics Manager job will also have a small degree of travelling so having a full UK drivers licence will be a prerequisite.
What you'll get in return
