WHAT TO EXPECT

Every product. Every process. Every environment. Our vehicles continually set the benchmark for luxury, innovation and performance thanks to our unrivalled commitment to infinite detail. Join us within our Purchasing teams, and you'll be the driving force behind it all.

Jaguar Land Rover Special Operations has been created to focus on meeting the increasing expectations of today's most discerning and enthusiastic vehicle customers. This business unit is focused on designing and engineering high-specification vehicles, bespoke commissions, heritage products and branded goods. These vehicles showcase the best of both brands, including high-performance derivatives, ultra-luxury products and limited-run collector editions.

Working directly with key stakeholders across Special Vehicle Operations, core Purchasing and other relevant teams, as a Senior Buyer you'll develop, agree and implement processes to effectively manage the sourcing of Special Vehicle Operation programmes. As this role will see you operate independently as much as in a team setting, a high level of interaction with internal stakeholders will be required, and you'll also maintain a continual flow of communication with the supply base.

In your role, you'll act as the primary interface between the Special Vehicle Operations Purchasing team and stakeholders across the business. This will include developing and agreeing commodity strategies for your areas, communicating strategies to key stakeholders and securing their buy-in. Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across Special Vehicle Operations will also be essential, and you'll be expected to provide relevant feedback to senior stakeholders. Additionally, you'll assume responsibility for the sourcing of key commodities from programme inception through to launch where required, and you'll utilise your awareness of developments and new opportunities in market to develop sourcing strategies that meet stakeholder requirements.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

You'll demonstrate a breadth of knowledge and have substantial confidence in your skill to carry out complex and non-standard activities in line with your job description. Making use of your full awareness of what best practice looks like, you'll be able to tailor your approach to any situation, and you'll be proactive with regard to providing guidance, instruction, advice and lessons learnt through the application of skills and experience gained in your current or previous roles. As well as strong subject-matter knowledge and a capability to explain this to others, you'll possess an analytical skill set with the ability to use a variety of purchasing tools.

BENEFITS

Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you'll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team, a discounted car purchase and lease scheme for you and your family, membership of a competitive pension plan and a performance-related bonus scheme. All this and more makes Jaguar Land Rover the perfect place to continue your journey.

Jaguar Land Rover is committed to equal opportunity for all.
