What is recruitment consultancy?
We support our candidates - job seekers like you! - to find their next career step, but understanding their motivations, aspirations and giving them advice and guidance on their job search (including CV advice, interview preparation, and much more!).
We support our clients to find high quality candidates for their businesses, both from a technical sense (the skills to do the job) but also from a cultural fit perspective (the right personality profiles to fit within the business). We also add value through salary advice, market insight, recruitment process advice, etc - anything our clients need to help them attract the best talent!
Our role is to find and represent fantastic candidates, to maintain strong client relationships, and to constantly grow our client and candidate base.
It is not an easy job - by any means! There are highs, when you will feel on top of the world! But then there are lows, when you will feel disillusioned and frustrated. You will need resilience, focus, commercial savvy and raw ambition.

Who makes a good recruiter? The short answer is, there is no short answer! Our team come from a wide range of backgrounds - logistics, buying, retail management and straight from university. It is your core skills and potential we are interested in, as much as your experience up till now.
To thrive in recruitment you need great communication skills, fantastic attention to detail & organisation, and the ability to work hard and drive results. You will also need raw ambition and a desire to succeed, combined with resilience (to overcome the inevitable dips!) and a commercially-astute mind (this is a sales role!).
So you could be fresh out of school or university and looking to build your career. You could work for one of our competitors and have heard good things about our training and career development.
