Your new role
Your role is a Buyer job, where you will come in and work with the team to help manage the supply chain to ensure best value for money and efficiency. You will also liaise with and manage important stakeholder relationships both within the business and with key suppliers. Key to your role will be negotiation to ensure that costs are managed as well as proactive supply chain management to ensure that stock levels are maintained at all times.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this job you will need to have some experience in procurement or supply chain ideally in a manufacturing setting. You will also need to have the ability to negotiate and develop strong working relationships. In order to be successful you will need to have strong Excel skills, in order to plan and report. Finally, central to this companies' success is a focus on customers, so you will need to have great customer service skills.
