This Graduate Procurement assistant position is an exceptional opportunity to step into the world of global Procurement & Logistics within a multinational business, and develop organisational and communication skills within a small dynamic Team, based in Derby.

Client Details

The client who I am currently representing are a world leading service provider. Operating out of Derby, they supply high quality products on a global scale. They are looking for a Graduate Procurement Assistant to help sustain growth.

Description

As the Graduate Procurement Assistant you will be responsible for the following:

  • Assisting the Procurement Team with daily administrative tasks
  • Dealing with UK and overseas based Customers enquiries
  • Processing orders with UK and overseas based Suppliers
  • Recording data into shared servers
  • Assisting with Inventory Control and Stock Takes
  • Raising shipping documents (Import / Export)
  • Keeping track of orders and shipments
  • Dealing with invoices and accounts queries
  • Dealing with internal enquiries from UK and overseas Branches (Europe, West Africa), as well as other Departments within the Company (Factory, Goods-In, IT…)
  • Attending and minuting internal and external meetings

Profile

Some work experience is preferable but not essential as the ideal candidate will primarily be focused, driven, receptive, a confident communicator, able to work to tight deadline and demonstrate evidence of success outside of academics. If you were successful in becoming the next Graduate Procurement Assistant you will ideally have some of the following key skills and qualities:

  • Degree graduate - 2:1 or equivalent minimum
