IT Procurement Specialist - Internationally-Renowned Professional Services Enterprise - Reading - £40-45k + excellent package

Following a period of aggressive expansion, this hugely successful professional services enterprise seeks an extremely ambitious and driven IT procurement specialist to join their award-winning procurement function.

Working out of their global HQ in Reading, the ambitious IT procurement specialist will join a hugely growing team within the IT category, catering for a variety of innovative projects within hardware, software, telecoms, IT infrastructure and many more. Working within a forward-thinking culture, the IT procurement specialist will gain the opportunity to work closely with an array of FTSE 250 enterprises, developing strong relations with a variety of global stakeholders and playing an integral part throughout many projects.

IT Procurement Specialist Responsibilities:

• Accountable for strategic sourcing and the implementation of cost-efficient strategies throughout the global end-to-end procurement cycle, within the indirect procurement category of IT
• Assist in supporting a huge team of procurement specialists across a variety of innovative global IT projects, within hardware, software, telecoms, IT services etc
• Develop and maintain relations with an array of senior global stakeholders, having a significant impact upon the enterprise's global image

IT Procurement Specialist Requirements:

• Proven track record working within indirect IT spend, successfully catering for the end-to-end procurement lifecycle across global projects including hardware, software, telecoms, IT services etc.
• Excellent inter-personal, communicate and negotiation skills
• MCIPs and degree preferred but not essential
