Indirect Buyer - Graduate

Buyer - Indirect opportunity with a Global OEM Automotive organisation. Our client, a global manufacturing giant we are seeking a passionate Indirects Buyer. You will be responsible for a set of technical categories (Services, R&D equipment, Packaging, etc.)

The Job Description:

• Formulate and execute purchasing strategies.
• Select and manage a capable and competitive supplier base.
• Lead cost reductions activities to meet short term as well as mid to long term cost targets.
• Lead contract negotiations with suppliers.
• Set up strong relationship with internal customers.
• Support purchasing process analysis & optimisation to aim at expanding the scope towards Company Pan-European Networks.
• Manage daily administration such as pricing, queries from customers and carry out reporting.

About you:

• You hold a Master degree or Bachelor degree
• You have a strong interest in technology (automotive or non-automotive related)
• You have less than 18 months of work experience.
• You have problem solving skills with a customer focussed mindset
• You possess the ability to work under pressure
• You are PC literate {Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• You are willing to Travel up to 10%
• You are fluent in English (this Global Company’s business language)
