Client Overview:

Our Client, based in throughout various Regions in the UK, provide Business Support Services to the NHS with the main aim to help deliver savings to the NHS. Our Client ensure cost improvements, efficiency savings, improved data management and reporting to those in the NHS and wider Public Sector they support.

Role Overview:

Due to continued success, and as a result growth, our Client is looking to bring in a Senior VAT Consultant to join their team and shape the future of the service provided. You will work alongside the VAT Team to oversee production of close to 300 VAT Returns across the NHS. The role is heavily client facing, working to sales targets and shaping expansion of the service. Successful candidates will need a background in NHS VAT and Tax, driven to succeed, available for frequent travel and give seminars/training in an efficient and professional manner.

This is a permanent opportunity based either in one of our Client offices in Leeds, Salford, Sheffield, Bristol or Southampton, or can also be Home Based, with a total package of over £100,000 on offer (£75,000 plus 15% Flex Fund and Bonus Scheme).

Experience Required:

Successful candidates must have the following experience:

  • Knowledge of Oracle ERP system
  • Experience of HMRC NHS VAT guidelines
  • Experience of dealing with HMRC requests
  • Knowledge in other areas of VAT and Tax
  • Track record in meeting / exceeding sales targets
  • Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travel across the UK
