The linchpin of our procurement process, you’ll work with internal customers and third party suppliers. You’ll give advice on all aspects of the process and be an excellent source of guidance. You’ll see that procurement follows best practice and complies with law and regulations. And what’s more, you’ll get to shape our procurement policies and improve our processes.
MCIPS-qualified with a degree (or equivalent), you’ll be an authority on public sector procurement. Your expertise covers e-procurement, purchase-to-pay (P2P) process and wider policy context – areas you’ve learned about while managing procurement in a large organisation. Able to lead a team, organise workloads and run a professional service, you’ll have the communication skills to manage multiple stakeholders. Bring these talents and plenty of motivation, and you could help improve public procurement across the board.
