As fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a senior IT Procurement expert to lead of the growth of IT procurement strategy on a global scale.

Positions within the business will not only challenge you but provide you with a platform to excel through senior level exposure and the autonomy to flourish. You will have the opportunity to autonomously implement category strategy across IT procurement on a global scale, in addition to creating your own IT procurement team, with two direct reports within the next 3-6 months.

With plans to expand procurements outreach across the Americas and Asia within the next 12 months this is a truly excellent opportunity to challenge yourself in a dynamic & forward-thinking working environment.

As the Head of IT Procurement, you will:

• Create & implement brand new IT category strategy globally
• Skilfully navigating through £multi-million spend across the software & hardware categories, in addition to line management responsibilities for further IT categories
• Implementing a high-class, cutting edge team through external recruitment and the development of internal talent
• Striving for progression within this rapidly transforming procurement team, by taking advantage of internal learning opportunities and senior level exposure
• Liaise with senior stakeholders on a global scale, and a rapidly changing fast-paced environment

Experience / knowledge required: -

• Strong IT procurement category experience ideally within a fast-paced private sector environment, showing stand-out levels of progression within this environment
• Experience within a global matrix organisation with the ability to work across a diverse portfolio of projects and environments
• BA / MBA / CIPS are desired
