FM Purchasing Manager

1st Executive is currently leading the search for a Senior Buyer to support the FM category. Our client is a multi billion pound global Aerospace company who are currently growing at an exceptional pace.

The role will be focused on supporting the category strategy for a major division of the business covering all strategic sourcing, contract implementation, management and compliance. You will focus on the promotion of best practice across this broad category area while reporting into the Head of Procurement for Indirect spend. The ideal candidate will operate with autonomy while building relationships with key stakeholders to ensure exposure to additional greenfield spend.

Applications will be welcomed from candidates who have sourced a wider indirects category.

Experience:
Demonstrable track record of delivering savings for FM spend. (Savings for general indirect spend also acceptable.)
Excellent communication skills
Strong experience working within a complex blue chip environment
Exceptional stakeholder management skills
Ideally educated to degree level or CIPS qualified, but not essential.
