The Warehouse Manger is to oversee the daily operation of the warehouse to ensure all product is properly and efficiently received, stored, picked and dispatched to fulfil internal and external customers. The job will compromise of originally managing 3-4 Warehouse staff with a view of growing this over the next 2 years. You will have the opportunity to develop the warehouse, recruit staff, adapt to new product lines and plan for the future.
You will also be required to oversee the switch towards e-fulfilment taking into account the larger number of orders and smaller packages.
Maintain a safe, secure and productive working environment in line with good Health and Safety practices and company policy.
Manage inventory accuracy through the monitoring of daily warehouse activities, cycle counts, AS400 / WMS comparisons, row audits and verify results.
Coordinate the efficient operation of the warehouse in line with all agreed timing programmes.
Provide leadership skills by establishing clear measures and expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practices and safety conscious behaviour.
Maintain and promote high standards of internal and external customer service.
Supervision of stores personnel.
Continuously monitor the performanc
The right candidate for this role will have an appreciation of all aspects of the warehouse and be willing to work from the bottom up. They will also have:
- Minimum 5 - 6 years in Warehouse Management
- Experience of E-fulfilment
- Experience of Consumer packaged goods
- FLT /VNA licence
- Organizer, efficiency improver, change management
- WMS system experienced including the use of Radio frequency technology (RF)
- Strong people skills, good computer skills with excel, access and word, possess a sense of urgency to work successfully within a pressured deadline environment.
