Reporting into the Finance Department as the Customs Analyst you will have the following responsibilities:

- Monitoring daily update files from SAP ensuring any errors are escalated for resolution in a timely manner. Manually entering data into a warehouse data system where necessary to ensure the bonded warehouse can continue to operate.
- Updating customs official exchange rate on a monthly basis
- Management reporting including the month end stock reconciliation reports; as well as reconciliation of reports to SAP, analysing duty discrepancies and taking corrective action as required;
- Managing shipping documentation for inbound deliveries to bonded warehouse and monitoring expected bonded stock shipment receipts based on SAP data and ensure inbound timelines are met;
- Collating shipping documentation for each bonded warehouse shipment; researching and analysing data to identify and investigate discrepancies;
- Liaising with third parties including DC operator, customs agent and carriers; ensuring legal and regulatory reporting requirements are fulfilled;
- Identity process improvements and assist in development / process enhancement;
- Ensure duty landed cost factors in SAP are accurately maintained;
- Reconciliation of duty landed cost accruals in SAP on a monthly basis;
- Follow up on commodity code discrepancies, ensuring necessary corrective action is taken and SAP maintained

- Prior experience in the fashion sector would be preferred
- Experience of customs duty and bonded warehouse facilities
- Understanding of commodity codes
- Experience of SAP is a preference
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow processes / guidelines
- Ideally a professional qualification, part qualified accountant
