Joining a global expert in the field the English / French Bilingual Inventory Controller will be responsible for minimising the costs of the supply chain through effective purchasing and management of a portfolio of suppliers.

As the English / French Bilingual Inventory Controller your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Purchasing of spare parts for maintenance
  • Ensure inventory availability to meet deadlines agreed with the supplier
  • Analysis of inventory requirements and calculation of optimal order quantities
  • Manage and review criteria for replenishment, adjusting where necessary
  • Assessing 'just in time' (JIT) measures; safety stock levels and reorder points
  • Effective planning to procure and supply at minimum cost
  • Participate in framework agreements with suppliers
  • Source, research and build relationships with suppliers
  • Consult and issue tender enquiries, compare quotes and place orders
  • Manage a portfolio of suppliers; organising reviews and evaluating performance

    The ideal applicant for the English / French Bilingual Inventory Controller post will be able to demonstrate:

  • Exposure to a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain environment
  • Experience within a Inventory, Procurement or Logistics environment
  • Advanced knowledge of computer packages i.e. Microsoft Office
  • Thorough understanding of ERP systems. SAP desirable
  • Good standard of written and spoken French and English
