Strategic Sourcing Procurement Analyst - Milton Keynes - up to £50,000 - Indirect Sourcing

A well renowned procurement focused business is seeking a strategic sourcing analyst to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot on the procurement ladder of a highly successful group.

The group are looking for a confident and polished professional, able to communicate and engage with difficult stakeholders at all levels throughout the business. The intention is to train the right candidate up to the level whereby you would be responsible for not only the strategic sourcing of indirect suppliers but SRM on key accounts as well.

The Procurement Responsibilities of the Procurement Analyst:

  • Lead the strategic sourcing activities to drive for the highest value and cost savings
  • Define, issue and manager RFIs and RFPs
  • Commercial analysis of multimillion pound contracts
  • Liaise closely with stakeholders
  • Take the lead on negotiations

Skills required:

  • 2-3 years' experience in strategic sourcing role
  • High level of indirect procurement understanding (HR/ IT/ Professional Services/ Facilities Management/ Marketing etc.)
  • Proficient in Excel
  • 2.1 Degree or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of SAP, Ariba and other e-sourcing platforms
  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable
  • Passion and hunger to succeed
  • Willingness to learn and work as a team
