This company are now looking for an experienced buyer to join their successful procurement team on a permanent
Your new role
Based in the Leeds office, you will be joining the procurement team for the IT division. Within the role you will be in charge of the facilities procurement, in charge of company car purchases and returns, mobile phones, stationary and mobile phones. For IT, you will be in charge of buying Laptops, ad-hoc IT products, desktops, software, hardware and in charge of obtaining quotes for laptop repairs and any other IT related products.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you must have previous procurement experience, preferably within the IT sector. You will need to be organised, efficient be able to react quickly to customers demands. You will have a proven track record of building business relationships and developing them to bring the company efficiency and cost savings where possible. You will be required to source new suppliers where possible and develop and negotiate with suppliers over the phone and face to face. This position would suit somebody who is able to adapt quickly and who enjoys working in a fast paced and challenging environment.
What you'll get in return
Working in an office of approximately 25 people, you will receive a competitive salary, paying up to £24,000 per annum, free on site parking and the opportunity to join a successful global company.
