Reporting directly into the Head of Procurement you will have responsibility across management of information and data across the procurement function. Whilst also holding responsibility for managing any changes arising from the central Procurement team, whilst supporting continuous improvement of all procurement processes and governance.

Ensuring receipt of all monthly procurement management information

* Owner of the procurement savings process, including coordination of savings, financial validation, data input, and performance monitoring

* Manage and own the annual consolidation of all external spend data into an Access Database

* Continuously improve and maintain a suite of collaboration platforms within the function (SharePoint, Contracts Database and emerging platforms)

* Design and develop a strategic supplier segmentation tool

* Coordinate supply chain supplier categorisation

* Central point of contact for all Procurement analysis requirements

* Coordinate and distribute monthly/quarterly procurement report/KPI dashboard

* Work with Finance to ensure that spend is reported against the correct Operating Company

* Manage the internal and external benchmarking activities for the Procurement Function in order to identify saving opportunities

* Process all Central Division Purchase Orders and own the p2p process

* Provide analytical support and market research for Procurement team

* Provide analytic support for the central ICT function

* Provide central procurement ERP support

* Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders

* Act as an advocate for procurement excellence through the adoption of a professional approach at all times promoting process, procedures and best practice

* Provide strategic presentation support as and when required


  • Strong decision making skills
  • Robust problem solving and analytic skills
  • Able to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Understanding of reporting requirements for procurement
  • Ability to manipulate, analyse and manage complex data streams from multiple ERP sources
  • Competent in using the full suite of Microsoft applications
  • Self starter who is results driven
  • Ideally MCIPS qualified or working towards

Job Offer

Salary Banding: £35,000 to £40,000 plus benefits
