Production Shift Manager
Your new company
One of the UK's market leading food manufacturing businesses are now seeking a Production Shift Manager to join their Bristol team. This household name has gone through a huge transition over the last few years and they now seek a strong people manager to join them team.
Your new role
As the Production Shift Manager, you will be managing a department of between 10 and 15 operatives within this 24/7 business. A standard working month will consist of 168 hour of work spread over 14 shifts, these shifts will operate 6-6. In addition to this, you will be expected to work with your team of operatives to create and implement new ideas through your understanding lean methodologies. There will be opportunities to progress within this role, however you will need to ensure that you can successfully succession plan to ensure you're able to develop your personal career.
What you'll need to succeed
Having worked within a Production Shift Manager, Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager or Factory Manager for at least 5 years, you'll have the relevant experience for this job. Ideally you will have gained this experience within an FMCG (ideally foods) manufacturing business. You will have the experience of managing plus motivating you teams plus ideally have an understanding of Lean/Six Sigma principles to help enhance your team and the rest of the business.
What you'll get in return
As the Production Shift Manager, you will be paid an annual salary of up to £40,000. In addition to this, you will be entitled to a wide range of benefits including a discount on internally produced goods and a wide range of additional benefits.
