Your new company
This well recognised public sector organisation has a direct influence on the lives of local residents, due to demand they are searching for a Strategic Procurement Manager to come and lead a small Procurement team in the management of current and upcoming contracts.
Your new role
You will report into the Head of Finance and be the lead advisor on strategic procurement for this organisation and its linked partners. You will be responsible for creating and implementing strategy for the organisation moving forwards over a range of categories and be responsible for creating and managing a team beneath you.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a background in public sector procurement and be comfortable managing a team. You will have experience across a range of categories and contract management and be able to provide examples of savings and value for money. Ideally MCIPS qualified however not essential if you have the relevant work experience, you will have motivation to drive the success and growth of this exciting organisation.
