Your new role
As Procurement Manager for the construction projects, you will be responsible for managing all cost and procurement related matters when it comes to new developments as well as retail refurbishment projects, ensuring that estimating techniques are adopted to reflect true spend figures. You will conduct the tender processes with key suppliers and initiate procurement solutions in order to drive down costs and maintain a high quality supply base.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate past experience in running tender processes, and driving down procurement costs within construction projects. A degree in Quantity Surveying will be highly advantageous for this position in order to liaise with architects and project managers. If you have past experience on retail projects that would be a massive bonus.
