A rare opportunity to join an excellent business, you will be given training and coaching to grow and develop your existing skills to become proficient in all things Procurement.

This role would also suit an experienced Buyer or Purchasing Administrator who is looking to work for a household name.

Client Details

The organisation, which is instantly recognisable and genuinely CV-enhancing, is currently investing in its Procurement set up having gone through a restructure to improve efficiency.


  • Tendering and procurement activity
  • Contract management
  • Supporting the Purchasing Managers and Senior Buyers to manage categories
  • Interfacing with suppliers
  • Negotiation of pricing
  • Administrative purchasing functions
  • Management and maintenance of purchasing systems


As the client is looking to grow its team significantly, a variety of backgrounds will be considered. You could be:

  • An experienced BUYER (directs or indirects)
  • From an administrative or customer-facing role (e.g. transactional finance)
  • A purchasing administrator

What is more important is that you have:

  • A positive, can-do attitude
  • Very strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • Great communication skills face-to-face, by telephone and in written comms
  • A desire to work hard and advance your career

Job Offer
