We currently have some exciting Buyer opportunities within our Category Development team based here in Chertsey across both of our Food and Non-Food Categories. So irrespective of whether its olives, sandwiches or paper towels that interests you, we have a Buyer opportunity for you.

What will I be responsible for?   

As a Category Buyer within Foodbuy, you will develop and implement market leading and innovative category strategies and ranges, which will fundamentally drive our revenue and profit performance. You will be an outstanding communicator who will be able to develop strong relationships with both our clients and suppliers; with a focus on sourcing great products at the forefront of everything you do. In addition to this, you will conduct analysis which will help support you make informed commercial decisions around the market place and will provide insight into long-term sourcing strategies.

Is this the right role for me?

You will have the ability to look at members and clients’ needs as a source of inspiration. Previous experience of supplier and client management is key as well as the ability to influence, engage and communicate at all levels.
