Procurement Analyst | World Renowned Research Company | Oxfordshire
An opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Analyst to join a globally renowned organisation at their central Oxfordshire headquarters.
This pivotal role manages the provision and interpretation of accurate and timely data analysis, business information and tools so that Group Procurement can identify opportunities across the indirect categories and achieve delivery targets. It can be broken down into three key areas; spend analysis; market analysis and supplier analysis. You’ll have the ability to analyse data using standard statistical methods including data modelling; creating spreadsheets, graphs, and charts to illustrate findings; and drafting clear and concise management reports.
A knowledge and understanding of procurement concepts, policies and procedures is essential and you’ll have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, in addition to an advanced knowledge of Excel, SharePoint and other Microsoft tools. An understanding of SAP R3 and intermediate level reporting is desired and you’ll ideally have previous experience with scripting (e.g. Visual Basic for Applications) and query language e.g. SQL/external market data.
