The IS IT Commercial Lead will lead the Commercial Management Team and be accountable for the end to end commercial life cycle for all IS / IT suppliers. You MUST have client side contract experience. Based in Manchester

Description

  • Responsible for the Commercial Management, ensuring all areas effectively plan, organise, build, run and monitor activities to meet strategic and operational business demands, whilst ensuring alignment to the organisations strategy.
  • To understand and have oversight of all contract management portfolios. Developing, maintaining and delivering a commercial plan covering payments and procurement activities.
  • Develops, maintains and delivers a sourcing strategy in support of the IS strategy
  • Measures, reports and evaluates Commercial Management performance against set objectives and recommends remedial actions.
  • Demonstrates optimal IT performance, through identifying future trends and leading innovative solutions/services, continual service improvement and value delivery.
  • Forecasts demand for Commercial Management and anticipates major business changes to ensure sufficient commercial capability.

Profile

Person Type:

  • Excellent Commercial acumen
  • Experience leading procurement teams is in implementation of sourcing strategies across a variety of spend areas
  • Proven Strategic Contract Management for high risk contracts, with the ability to demonstrate contract practice & procedures.
  • Experience of Procurement & Contract Management including commercial negotiation of significant value and/or risk.
  • Experience leading a multidisciplinary team, working with & influencing key stakeholders of all levels.
  • A proven track record of the whole life cycle contract & relationship management.
  • Senior stakeholder management experience
  • Strong interpersonal & relationship building skills.
  • Analytical skills covering written, graphic, numerical & statistical information including risk assessment.
