I am looking for a Transport Manager who can work within a faced paced, high pressure environment. The role involves managing a fleet of 100 tractor units delivering up to 200 retail deliveries per day plus x-dock & trunking.

Create a strong customer service culture in your division to ensure all products are delivered to store on time and in full, to drive full availability for customers in line with plan.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement to identify improvements in work processes and manage the implementation of these to enable continued service development.
Listen and inspire the division by creating an environment that enables managers and colleagues to perform to their best and supports future development.
Continually monitor performance against KPIs identifying areas for improvement and driving initiatives.
Determine resource plans (weekly, monthly and annually)/
Ensure compliance with appropriate regulations and company standards to contribute to an outstanding transport report.
Monitor all productivity and cost targets, to ensure overall running of the transport division remains within budget and contributes to the commercial success of the organisation.
The Transport Manager based in Cheshire should have previously been responsible for leading a significantly sized Transport team in a senior management role with a proven track record of delivering excellent results in a multi-temperature environment. We are looking for senior manager who is keen on developing, coaching and mentoring managers and has a strong track record of delivering excellent results through an engaged team.
