Supplier Evaluation & Development Manager required by this global market leading engineering organisation based in Herts
Your new role
You will work in a multi-functional team to monitor and analyse the performance of a portfolio of suppliers, identifying and manage any improvement activities, and analyse risks and supplier capabilities.
* Collection and analysis of risk intelligence and the prevention and treatment of risk through the supply chain
* Collection and analysis of supplier performance and trends
* Identify , implement and manage improvement plans
* Championing a continuous improvement philosophy within the organisation and with the suppliers
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a strong technical background gained within an engineering business
and have a proven background of supplier evaluation and performance monitoring and analysis
as well as been involved in identifying implement and manage improvement plans with a portfolio of suppliers
An engineering qualification would be an advantage
