Your new role
Your role as interim procurement manager will require you will lead sourcing strategies on behalf of all of the organisations customers advising the local procurement teams and stakeholders of the best route to market to meet their objectives. The post holder will be an expert in procurement and will develop in-depth category knowledge allowing them to advise stakeholders and the best way to structure contracts. The post holder will be expected to provide advice to senior managers and provide professional advice to suppliers on compliant procurement processes. This specific role will require you to run a professional training framework at OJEU level.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will have to have to have a proven track record of successfully led OJEU tenders. These tenders will ideally be in the clinical/surgical categories. You will require senior stakeholder engagement experience both internal and external and have great communication skills.
