Reporting into the commercial lead you will be an integral part of how our client manages their IT contracts and really gets best value for money.

Client Details

Our client is a large Public Sector body based in Manchester. They have a strong procurement and commercial focus and need some expertise around their IT contracts.

Description

  • Manage contract review and renewal process
  • IT Financial Management and Budgets
  • Maintaining IT contracts database
  • Market analysis
  • Assist with the organisations sourcing strategy
  • Adhere to consistent IS approaches
  • Negotiates and resolves contractual issues
  • Attend budget management meetings
  • Undertakes strategic analysis, including research into suppliers, markets and product and service categories to develop, define and implement the commercial management strategy

Profile

  • Degree or significant relevant experience
  • Experience of managing budgets
  • In-depth IT contract knowledge
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Experience in tender process
  • Experience of writing business cases
  • Excellent understanding of the IT market

Job Offer

£250 - 350p/day
