Interim Procurement Manager, Local Government, 6 Month Part-Time Contract, London, £300 per day

A new opportunity has arisen for an interim Procurement Manager at a local government client. This will be a 6 month part - time contract based in London. Please note you will be expected to work 3 days a week. The role will be inside IR35.
Your new role
Within this role you will be procuring within the print and waste categories. You will be responsible for leading on end to end OJEU tenders whilst ensuring compliance with governance and meeting savings targets. You will also be required to manage relationships with a number of stakeholders at different levels.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you must have public sector, including end to end OJEU level procurement experience. Knowledge of these categories would be helpful but not essential. Ideally looking for candidates with a generalist background, who are adaptable and can hit the ground running. It is essential you have worked within the public sector but candidates with some private sector experience will also be considered.
