Interim Procurement Officer, Housing Association, 3 Months, South London, £140 per day

A south London based housing association is looking for a Procurement Officer to join them for an initial 3 month interim period. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a changing organisation that is not affected by IR35.
Your new role
You will be responsible for supporting the procurement team across various categories. Using your public sector procurement experience and knowledge of EU regulations, you will be responsible for assisting with some of parts of the procurement process. This could include; the management of tendering activity through the e-procurement portal, providing support at procurement meetings as well as researching suitable suppliers and arranging meetings.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you must have some public sector procurement experience and awareness. You do not need to have lead OJEU tenders but you must be familiar with the process. You must have used some e-procurement system before and be comfortable in using one. You must be able to hit the ground running and be happy to provide all levels of administrative support.
