Your new role
This role will be responsible for ensuring all necessary parts are available and delivered direct to flow line. This will include ensuring the accuracy and traceability of inventory quantities in SAP (MRP system) and will involve conducting daily cycle counts and annual inventory stock takes. With responsibility for controlling bulk materials and floor stock, this role will also implement inventory measurement KPI's and visual controls relating to the supply of product to the factory. An understanding of lean manufacturing principles is important as the role will also have responsibility for daily area walks and identifying opportunities to apply Lean principles.
What you'll need to succeed
Materials management experience is essential with a working knowledge of SAP highly beneficial. An understanding of lean principles and process improvement experience is essential with excellent communication skills a pre-requisite.
