A high profile senior leadership role with this blue-chip employer of choice. This key role will be responsible for all local procurement, supply and demand planning and warehousing activities. Key responsibilities will include: managing the global S&OP process, overseeing master scheduling and capacity planning; the control and management of all materials on a local basis from raw materials to final products; developing and embedding strategic procurement plans that deliver cost savings and maximise efficiencies; and ensuring best practice in the receiving, storage and shipment of all inventory finished goods. With leadership responsibility across a cross-functional management team, this role will also have budgetary responsibility.
Demonstrable expertise across the above areas are essential with exceptional leadership skills a pre-requisite The ability to work strategically while retaining a key operational eye for detail across Materials management, Procurement and Warehousing is required with technical skills also needed in Quality, Lean Manufacturing techniques, Kaizen and Process Improvement. The ability to solve complex problems and an in-depth understanding of business processes especially interactions between functions is required with the ability to lead and motivate people and drive results crucial.
