Our procurement function is foundation of the great things we do ... and with 84,000 colleagues and millions upon millions of customers, our revenue comes from health insurance and health/care provision around the world and run clinics, hospitals, dental centres, care homes and retirement villages. We are also acquisitive, as the recent £835m purchase of Oasis Dental Care proves, and thus our procurement team are really rather busy.

Thus we now have an opportunity for an accomplished Category Specialist to join our IT procurement team for 6 months (at the very least). About You

You’ll be a Graduate or higher and ideally be MCIPS, or well on your way, with experience of sourcing IT products, software and hardware and IT services, probably within a large, blue chip organisation

You’ll be a skilled negotiator, with amazing expertise in stakeholder relationship management, both internally and externally

You’ll be proficient at drafting contracts, have developed and managed category risk plans and have evidence of identifying and delivering cost savings in your Category
