Your new role
In your new job, you will be a Procurement Manager looking after new business areas for the company, which means you will have great responsibility but also the opportunity to really develop strategies and the procurement capacity going forward. Your role will be focused on building relationships and partnering with new business units, introducing procurement best practice and finding savings where possible. Also in your new role, you will be centrally involved in selecting and developing suppliers to the long-term benefits of your new company.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in your new job you will have extensive experience in Procurement ideally from the services sector. This job requires a dynamic, driven individual who is ready to take this great opportunity and drive it forward for the long-term. This job requires you to have past experience building relationships with key internal stakeholders and acting in a business partner capacity. Further to that, you will need to have experience sourcing and managing new suppliers. For this role CIPS qualifications are highly desirable.
