Procurement Officer Opportunity in Essex

You will be working for a growing organisation with a global footprint in the Essex area.
Your new role
You will be playing a key role within the highly established procurement team. You will work closely alongside the Head of Procurement in the day to day running of the procurement function. You will also pass on your knowledge and skills and help the procurement assistant in the team. You will also be negotiating prices with suppliers and ensure the best prices for the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role, proven procurement experience is crucial. You will also need an understanding of basic financial principles and also software application knowledge for procurement. The ideal candidate would be working towards their CIPS qualification and have exposure to OJEU however this is not necessarily an essential requirement.
