Group Procurement Category Manager

A leading international consumer goods and packaging company, is currently looking for Interim Group Procurement Category Manager. This organisation is a front-runner in their industry, with over 50 years' experience and currently operates in over 37 countries.
Your new role
This is a fantastic job, working as a Procurement Manager working within HR, Professional Services and Fleet categories. You will be reporting directly to the Group Procurement Category Lead. You will act as a Procurement consultant within Indirect Procurement team and externally. In addition you will be required to use your commercial knowledge to verify and approve commercial contracts and documentations. A key part of your role will be to develop and manage relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external across multiple European cultures. You will be negotiating and agreeing on contracts and tracking their progress, you will also be responsible for dealing with any issues that may arise and coming up with a solutions.
What you'll need to succeed
For you to be successful in this job, you will have to a strong background working in a Procurement role. Ideally you will have strong negotiation skills, be able to work in a fast paste environment. You should be able to multi-task and prioritize your work load quickly, while still working to a high standard.
What you'll get in return
This role is home based with travel to their head office on London. This is a 3 month initial contract, with a competitive day rate.
