Senior Procurement Manager
VPS Group are a leading service provider for the protection of people, property and assets on a temporary or emergency basis. We lead the European vacant property services market, providing a full suite of specialist solutions across the complete property lifecycle, as well as offering a wide range of Property Services for occupied property from locks and glazing to grounds services and remote site security. We now have a vacancy within the Procurement Team for a Senior Procurement Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join us during a time of change and growth.
Senior Procurement Manager Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 per annum, dependent upon skills and experience 25 days Annual Leave plus bank holidays. Other benefits (Pension, Bonus, Car allowance etc). This is an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Manager (MCIPS Qualified or working towards it) to join VPS Group.
Based in Norwich, this role will provide effective Procurement leadership and support to the VPS Group, ensuring that The Group’s Procurement Strategy is implemented and maintained sufficiently to support the delivery of the Group’s Corporate Objectives.
Key responsibilities include
To deliver the Procurement Action Plan as set out in the Group Procurement Strategy
Negotiate favourable terms with suppliers and subcontractors
To act as a central source of support, guidance and advice on Procurement related matters
Build strong working relationships with Operations, Finance and the Customer Services teams across the whole of the VPS Group which will include travel across the UK and Europe
To update all procurement documentation and processes in accordance with legal requirements and industry best practice
Create, implement and measure performance against agreed KPI’s and SLA’s within the supply chain. Ideally you will have previous experience in the property management or construction service industry.
