Interim Category Manager, Local Government, 4 Months, Inside IR35, £400 per day
Your new company
Our public sector client is looking to recruit a corporate category manager to lead on procurement activities. This will be a 4 month interim assignment only based in central London.
Your new role
You will be procuring a number of goods and services within the corporate category. You will be required to lead on this process from start to finish, from identifying the need, researching the market, through to signing the contract and managing it. These procurement projects must also be lead in compliance with current public sector regulations and directives.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be able to work autonomously on various tenders ensuring they are compliant with public procurement regulations. You must be confident with your procurement skills, OJEU knowledge and have excellent attention to detail. Experience of evaluating the best options available, as well as being able to provide advice to clients is essential. A team player with effective communication skills and commercially aware.
