Warehouse Clerk position in Belfast

Your new role
You will ensure that all goods are despatched from the factory in line with customer requirements and ensure that the Company complies with all Export Documentation requirements.
Key Task Areas:
Negotiation of rafts with shipping and airfreight companies for freight cost and delivery times.
To ensure external customers receive their good on time.
To ensure disciplines of standards, such as ISO 9001:2000 are maintained.
To ensure that all appropriate paperwork is despatched with the goods and, where necessary, forwarded to the customer and that all the proper declarations are made.
To liaise with despatch and sales on key contracts.
To liaise with credit control on despatch paperwork for LOCs and documentary collections.
To ensure that the Company achieves a profit on carriage charges.
To comply with all the legal documentation requirements on Hazardous Goods, Certificate of Origin and Export Declarations.
Ensure the Company operates the Despatch Department profitably.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience within a busy warehousing environment at an operational level and have a strong working knowledge of Logistics paperwork and procedures.
You will have a counter balance fork lift licence. You will also be IT proficient (MS packages) and Warehouse Management system experience would be desirable.
