Your new role
As the category manager for estates you will be expected to devise and implement a category plan. You will be part of a brand new procurement team so will need to work with stakeholders at a range of seniority's and often quite challenging. You will be responsible for running end to end OJEU tenders and working with relevant frameworks to provide solutions.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous public sector experience and experience within higher education would be beneficial, but not essential. As would any experience with JCT and NEC contracts. MCIPS qualified or studying towards. Finally it is essential that you have excellent stakeholder management skills.
