Interim Contract Specialist
My client is looking to recruit a contract specialist to work across the organisation looking specifically at IT contracts to conduct a best value review, giving recommendations as to where cost savings can be found and identify any service impact of making those savings.
Initially, the ideal candidate will start with a full review of IT Contracts, and then assess how the contracts from all 3 authorities can be adapted to achieve savings through economies of scale and rationalisation.
You will be supporting key supplier relationships and ensuring that plans are implemented to encourage innovation and maintain performance management regime.
You will have experience of working within the public sector on management of major contracts for the supply of complex goods and services
Knowledge of financial models and experience of application to contract management
Knowledge of English contract law
Experience of analysing data and drawing conclusions
In depth knowledge of procurement processes, tools and techniques including OJEU/EU regulations tendering and retendering procedures.
