This particular role will have a focus of GNFR and will support the business with Purchasing Capability (Negotiating new contracts and maintaining existing contracts with suppliers to include, Pricing, sourcing and maintenance of contracts)

Client Details

Our Client is predominately a Global FMCG Wholesaler with part of the business manufacturing own branded products. The company has gone through huge growth and is now the preferred choice to many high street businesses.


Key responsibilities include but are not limited to;

  • To work with the Group Business Risk and Group Logistics teams to provide a professional purchasing service for contracted services
  • To work with the Finance team to ensure that agreed terms are achieved, accounted for and that a consistent approach is taken with all suppliers
  • Provide purchasing support for group capital projects as required
  • Review and interrogate any purchasing variances etc. that may occur and report on these as specified
  • Prepare, produce and communicate all relevant documentation regarding terms, contractual obligations etc as specified by the business
  • Develop and produce Purchasing dashboard for monthly board meetings
  • Develop effective working relationships with key suppliers.


The successful Candidate will possess;

  • A demonstrable track record in a purchasing role with exposure to varied commodities and services
  • Fantastic written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid understanding of ERP Systems
  • Advanced level of computer proficiency including Excel(Pivot tables, V look-up), Word and Outlook
  • Exposure to a commercial environment
  • Demonstrable background in GNFR
