Your New Role
Public Sector Category Officer
Temporary Role- Maternity Leave Up to 12 months
You will work with a regional procurement unit within a public sector procurement setting. You will contribute to the delivery of category strategies, undertaking procurement and contract management activity. You will assist in the preparation, dispatch, receipt, and evaluation of tenders.
What You Need to Succeed
You will need an enthusiastic and motivated outlook looking for a new challenge. There is a requirement to travel across the region along with senior colleagues to meet with stakeholders. You will need to have experience within a category or procurement role.
What You Will Get in Return
You will receive £24,000 per annum, 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday. You will be based at your choice of four locations across the region. You will gain further experience within public sector procurement as well as an understanding of EU regulations.
