Your new role
In your new job, you will be the Procurement Manager will full responsibility for the overall function and attached team. This is an outstanding opportunity to develop the procurement function in a practically greenfield environment, allowing you to utilise your business acumen and create a highly successful department. Key to your new role will be providing procurement support across the business, purchasing a variety of goods and services and business partnering departments to ensure 'Procurement Best Practice' is followed across the company. Development and delegation to your team will be an important part of your role here.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in your new job, you will have senior procurement experience including leading and developing teams. You will also have extensive experience in supplier selection and contract negotiation / management. To be successful, you will need to have experience purchasing a variety of goods and particularly services. On top of that, business partnering experience as well as strategy setting and function development would be ideal. Knowledge of data management, Modern Slavery Act, and strong systems skills are highly desirable.
