Inventory Manager, £45,000, North UK, Retail & Wholesale services Company

This pioneering provider of Retail and Wholesale services have an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Manager, on a 12 month Fixed-Term contract basis, to join their growing business. This role will be field based across the North of the UK and act as a link between the Head Office Supply Chain division and the regional distribution network.
Your new role
In this role you will be; managing regional stock integrity across the branch network, providing system and process training to colleagues and support KPI achievement. You will also be conducting stock audits and create audit action plans where needed. This will include managing inventory control and investigations for the warehouse operations and liaising with Head Office to continuously review and implement stock management processes to support branch management.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need previous experience of Inventory Management at site level and be a confident communicator to effectively deliver coaching and training. You will definitely possess strong organisational skills & computer literacy, with an expert knowledge Microsoft Office. Furthermore, experience of SAP and Lean Six Sigma would be advantageous.
