Management Consultant - Procurement - Niche Consultant - Financial Services - up to £85,000 DOE

This London based management consultancy are looking to bring the very best of procurement talent into their team, and as such have gone out to market for a management consultant who specialises in procurement. When successful you will become part of a highly regarded and well recognised team, that are leaders in their industry.

The Responsibilities of the Procurement Management Consultant:

  • Ensure that the delivery team are meeting their contractual obligations
  • Get involved in the delivery of innovative strategies with key clients
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the right targets are being set and the correct areas are being focussed on
  • Meet with key clients and build on those relationships, using your knowledge of their company, the sector and the market to upsell on existing contracts
  • Take the lead on a number of important change management and transformation projects

Key Skills and Responsibilities of the Procurement Management Consultant:

  • Fully versed in the full end to end processes involved in procurement
  • Must be an excellent communicator
  • Previous consulting experience is preferred
  • Experience in financial services is essential
  • Must be flexible to travel for five days a week
  • Degree education or equivalent
  • CIPS qualified of similar
