Currently recruiting a Demand Planner for a well known consumer food brand based near Gatwick. The Demand Planner will manage forecasting for some of the brands key customers.
The client are based near Gatwick and are a Global consumer food brand.
The Demand Planner will be responsible for the following:
Creating short, medium and long term customer forecasts enabling the business to achieve sales, customer service and finished goods waste target
Use key inputs from customers, sales, category and market to create the most reliable forecast by customer by SKU by day, week and month to include seasonality and any external events
Supporting and developing the S&OP process
Continuous improvement for end to end Supply Chain systems and processes
Supply Chain data and root cause analysis
Maintaining competitor promotional history documentation and build up expertise in promotional forecasting
Working collaboratively with your Key customers to produce forecasts and increase forecast accuracy
Represent Supply Chain in various Projects as required
The successful candidate will have worked in a FMCG environment previously, managing the forecasting process.
You must have demonstrated ability to interact effectively with people at different levels and influence at all levels.
The role demands someone very analytical with a solid background in using an MRP system.
As Demand Planner you will support the wider Supply Chain, therefore initiative, ability to adapt and a capability of working to tight deadlines is key.
£30000 - £35000 plus package
