Your new company
This established and rapidly expanding organisation are recruiting a General Manager at their Bedfordshire site. This 3PL company have cemented a strong reputation in the Logistics industry and hold over 15 site across the UK. They have built good relationships with several of the UK's largest companies across a range of industries.
Your new role
As the new General Manager you will be reporting directly to the companies Managing Director. You will hold overall accountability for the site's performance including all aspects of warehousing and transport. You will be managing a team of 50-60 staff within the site. You will be responsible for H&S, compliance and all site regulations.
What you'll need to succeed
The new GM will need to demonstrate significant leadership skills and have a proven track record in a similar role. A background in a 3PL organisation would be hugely beneficial as well as experience managing a fast moving site. Exceptional communication skills are needed aligned with a strong commercial focus.
