Your new role
In your new job you will be a Senior Category Manager primarily focused on indirect procurement categories. Your job will be focused on maximising the value of several major contracts and suppliers to the business, as well as ensuring that suppliers a consistently developed and improved. You will be working as a close business partner with several units across the company, supporting them in their activities and ensuring that best practise is maintained. Key to your role will be the management of key 3rd party suppliers, ensuring that their contribution is in-line with contracts.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in your new job, you will have extensive experience in procurement ideally focused on indirect categories and supplier management. You will have demonstrable experience partnering internal and externally to maximise value for your business. You will have also managed procurement projects end-to-end, and have some experience developing contracts and suppliers. Ideally you will also have some CIPS qualifications.
